its a sad thing, but there is alot of people that suffer from the ""UGLY/FAT GURL"" syndrome, know matter how normal/average or healthy, and or pretty they are they see themselves quite the opposite when they look in the mirror, That's been proven... with the majority of the girls who suffer with anorexia/bulimia....no matter how thin they get, they still see a "Fat" person looking back, its a very, very sad and serious issue.
So many people just need to be flattered more in this world instead of being so negative and stressing on all the bad in someone. With ever 1 negative issue there are probly 5 wonderful things that are being overlooked :(
Yesterday, while in the elevator on my way up to see my grandson (Emari) at the hospital, there was a beautiful young girl (very late teens maybe early 20's) that was going to the same floor as i was. I told her, "You must hear this all the time, BUT you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen" She thanked me and looked a lil flushed from embarrassment. While getting off the elevator heading different directions, she turned back towards me, and she said to me,
"Thank you and no....know one has ever told me that before. I replied back, "Om MY.... Believe me, I have seen some beautiful eyes before, and yours are some drop dead gorgious eyes...lol
This is a horrible shame because we all feed off of remarks both good and bad....and its not a selfish thing to want to be told you look nice or smell good or anything positive will do.
Try this.... next time your out and about, even blogging or face booking, Say something nice to a stranger or someone you know, because you never know.....you might be the only person who will. U will make their day as well as yours, knowing you may have been the only person that may have put a smile on someones face :) is the greatest feeling!!!!!
